outreach
the church does outreach by being present in the community. people in the community will find us giving our coffee and granola bars out for free at the subway stops. the homeless population will see us at the weekly free fellowship dinner. we put the church on people’s minds so that when the Holy Spirit softens their hearts they have a place to explore the Gospel.
community
I am so excited to get to plug into this amazing community of believers and learn and grow with them this summer. I will get to participate in a community group as well as join in one-on-one discipleship with one of the women in the church. the Christian life looks very different in other cultural contexts and I will get to discover that first hand through this wonderful community.
adventure week
adventure week is hope fellowship’s version of vbs. this is just another way that the church can serve the community while raising the children in an unchurched community to have a picture of a healthy church and introduce them to Jesus. of course we will also have tons of fun along the way!
partnership
hope fellowship has sent out two more church plants into the greater Boston area. they are a little smaller than hope fellowship so I will get the opportunity to come alongside their ministries at different points in the summer to help them with administrative things that they do not currently have enough staff infrastructure to maintain.
